Vs a Moon Dragon the Carnosaur is dealing more wounds per round of combat on average but since they numbers are quite close and the Moon Dragon has higher initiative in the 'average combat' it would kill the Carnosaur 1 initiative step before it would have died itself, limping away with 1.5 wounds.
